1st KL BB Recruitment
BB - Boy's Brigade, is a uniform organization, with the coverage of almost all country over South-East-Asia. For me, I am from the 1st Kuala Lumpur Company, and the sponsoring/ supporting church is Wesley Methodist Church, KL. In case you've never heard of BB before, the following is the BB logo.
1st KL BB company is now having a recruitment programme, which will be held on the end of the year to the starting of the following year. The objective of this programme is to increase the strenght of the BB company, in the vision of every boy brings a relative or friend to the BB company. For those who succeed in bringing boys to join the BB for 1 year with the minimum of 72% attendance will be awarded with the Recruitment Badge.
BB members are addressed via their rank: Recruit, Private, Lance Corporal, Corporal and Sergeant. Lance Corporal, Corporal and Sergeant are under NCO category, which means Non-Commisioned Officer. When you first joined the Boy's Brigade, you are addressed as a Recruit. In order to bring yourself up to Private, you are required to undergo the Boot Camp, which is practised in 1st KL. To advance to the Lance Corporal, Corporal and Sergeant, you need to show your loyalty to the company and to the church, with the consequence of beeing recommend by officers, or other NCOs.
The objective of the BB is to advance the christ kingdom and to build up a good character. If you are feeling bored on Saturdays, or just playing games at home, this is a good chance for you to join the BB, and make new friends instead of doing something meaningless. No harm to try, join the BB today and see how it changes your life!
